I will discuss the types of admission. Present the self-disqualifying statements. Provide details of the application packet. I will share about the process of organizing the cohort, in an attempt to enroll a cohort that is purposely diverse in candidates and their experiences in life. Finally, I will share the stages of the admission process.

Types of Admission
There are four types of admission: Bidding, Lottery, Direct Selection, and Scholarships. Eight people, on both sides of the gender, will be admitted under each of these designations i.e. 16 for each type of admission.
Bidding -
Most important thing to know is that anyone who bids must meet the competitive qualities expected of all candidates.
The founder does not subscribe to the bastardization of the wealthy. We do cartwheels for other 2% factions of society - isn't it hypocritical to prohibit participation or joy for those of wealth? Well the founder thinks so.
If applicants with comparable traits to other applicants, and the fiscal means, wish to pay more than market value, then they should be shown appreciation, not castigation, for their generous contributions to The Most Amazing College ecosystem.
Our contribution to lexicaliztation is "bidstering" - bidding for admission and acting as a booster for scholarships and capital projects, or pre-alumni giving if you will.
Bidding will start at the full enrollment for your child, and for the full costs of a scholarship candidate (currently projected at $330,000 per candidate), plus $10,000 to support other needs of the scholarship candidate over the three years because it is likely they and their families need assistance to travel to and from our locations, and other costs/items not in the budget that others might naturally have already.
Our capital wish list, fiscal stability fund, and expansion of The MAC ecosystem, receive the balance of the winning bid.
I will not accept requests for favors, request for designation to an endowment, or any conditions otherwise not expressed.
One reason, is an economic philosophy of my own thinking, human value interest, that akin to the expression "boots on the ground", I will expeditiously put 'money on the ground'.
Help people now!
The scholarship candidate is helped now. The cohort will benefit now.
Secondly, the piggyback feeling about your money becoming The MAC's money, is that I know better what to do with your money than you do.
Depending on the success of this practice and overage related thereto, I have some seriously amazing additions to The MAC ecosystem.
This is another reason The MAC is not accepting federal or state, loans or grants.
Accepting their monies would make bidding illegal.
I should make you aware that The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), considers it unethical.
I don't care. You have your own compass.
Guess there is another club I'm not joining. Groucho Marx, "I would never belong to a club that would have me as a member".
I wonder what the NACAC ethical decree is relating to institutions hoarding 10s-of-billions of dollars, and still able to take Title IV funding from the federal government.
I would love for the NACAC to interview our scholarship recipients, ask other members of the cohort both benefiting from the bids now, how they feel. Comeback, year after year, and see how the bidding contributes to the benefit of other cohorts, and program buildout of The MAC ecosystem.
The bidding aspect allows families to give now, so they can see the fruits of their labor, and limits or eliminates the need for the "alumni harassment hustle".
Why contribute after graduation, when you can't enjoy the ecosystem buildout, benefits for the whole cohort now, especially of scholarship candidates in the present?
If you don't think that legacy considerations, back-room conversations, or hand-shake deals on the golf course don't occur, then you live in fantasy land.
Additionally, a student that can't afford to go to an institution even with some type of fiscal assistance, who's spot is taken by someone with the fiscal ability to pay, is ostensibly bidding by another name - technically Need-Aware Admissions. Finally, this includes significant increases of institutions seeking international applicants because they pay full costs.
Schools have bid for students and athletes by way of scholarships, and of course with the advent of N.I.L. (name image likeness) deals, the level and leverage of bidding is exploding.
So tell me why families shouldn't also be allowed to bid.
What difference is there between schools bidding for students, or families bidding for schools?
Lottery -
Admitting students, applying in droves, is surely a difficult and imperfect process for all institutions. Many applicants are so similar and qualified that I am including the lottery selection similarly used by competitive charter high schools because it neutralizes the subjectivity of picking one applicant over another.
Selected -
When successful bidding, lottery, and scholarship applicants are done being chosen, then the remaining applicant pool will be culled to choose the final eight applicants per gender.
Scholarship -
I have chosen four demographics that will represent the spots for scholarships. I am currently focusing on: The Original Peoples, Blacks, Children of active or retired military, and the capitalist marginalization of Blue Collar workers - especially in areas that companies have abandoned to use cheaper labor in another country.
Scholarship applicants will need to meet income limitations, similar qualities used to select other applicants, and be one of the chosen demographics. In some instances, at my discretion, extenuating circumstances may allow for exceptions to certain qualities.
We will be using the Federal Poverty Guidelines fiscal determinations.
The current thresholds....
Family of one $15,960
Family of two $21,640
Family of three $27,320
Family of four $33,000
Family of five $38,680
Whether these thresholds are rational or not is a discussion for another day, but they are what they are in determining services or benefits of such a situation.
Self-Disqualifying Survey
This section contains qualities, statements, and agreements that an applicant must have or concur with.
If any of the aspects are a no for you, then the formal application is not for you.
The MAC self-disqualifying pre application agreements.
The following statements must all be agreed upon by applicant and parent.
1. I will be 18 years old before July 3, 2027.
2. I agree that I am able to fund my education without need for federal or state, loans or grants, and accept the institutions policy on refunds in the event of my withdrawal.
3. I agree that I will be able to submit a physical that validates my ability to physically participate in all the activities.
4. I agree that I will be able to submit a mental health evaluation that validates my ability to handle the mental and emotional strains of such a program.
5. I agree to scheduling and maintaining regular mental health appointments, at least bi-monthly, throughout my candidacy.
6. I agree that I will have better than a 3.5 gpa when it comes time to begin the cohort. I agree that my AP courses will be judged on a traditional grading level, not specially weighted.
7. I agree that my high school years are replete with multiple experiences. I agree that a high school career experience beyond athletics is necessary to be a well-rounded candidate. Extracurricular experiences at my school, employment, volunteerism, life situations, and more, are desirable traits that will impact acceptance.
8. I agree that I am committed to finishing the degree of the cohort.
9. I agree that being assigned more work than other institutions will better prepare me for the workforce after graduation.
10. I agree that I will have a total of three “team” members (parent, friend, mentor, coach etc.), that the cohort leaders will be able to reach out to for input, in case I am struggling or otherwise underperforming. I agree this policy is more appropriate for my success, even though it is restricted by other institutions under a governmental privacy protection for students over 18, its acronym is FERPA (think medical HIPPA for education). This is not an open invitation for “helicopter” parents, merely a tool for cohort leaders to seek helpful input when necessary.
11. I agree that the totality of my cohort experience should be available for potential employers to review, including academics and any infractions or misconduct.
12. I agree that ending any dating relationship is necessary to participate fully in the cohort experience because the relationship will be nearly impossible to maintain due to the logistics of incessant travel, and it would significantly impact my ability to be intensely connected to my academics and my cohort peers.
13. I agree that I must fully engage with cohort peers, even those with different beliefs, backgrounds, or lifestyles – that the more differences I experience will afford me better relationships with all, and make for better professional relationships in the future.
14. I agree that I will maintain my gender orientation from acceptance through program completion, and that my stage of transition shall be at a progress that does not require time away from the travel, for example surgery.
15. I can choose a binary sex description for enrollment purposes. (You will be able to choose your description (pronoun etc.), that you prefer to be addressed as, during your enrollment.)
16. In certain situations when it is necessary, I am comfortable sharing a queen bed with someone of the same sex - especially if it is a swanky hotel or city.
17. I accept the refund policy without contention, I understand that The MAC refund policy is not in accordance with state regulations, and of my own will, will accept the institutional policies as publicly presented by The MAC.
18. I have or will have a course in calculus.
19. I agree to be up to date on professionally supported, medically sound, immunizations and vaccines required by The MAC.
20. I accept that the admission policy of bidding, is more helpful than it is "unethical", that the benefits out-way the subjective labeling ascribed to it by certain higher education "agencies".
21. I agree that I will be judged only on the work and experiences through the end of my junior year (no last minute senior-come-lately).
22. If I make it to the stage to submit all my documents, I will deliver a handwritten document of all these agreements with signature and initials by myself and a parent or guardian.
Selection Process
Stage One
The application portal will be open for about two months (tentatively). During that time, the top 1,600 applicants are determined by sorting out applicants based on all the typical criteria, and of course some questions that other institutions don't ask - as you might expect. This will be expressly performed by technology, based on internal ratings.
***Very Important*** If you have not reviewed the self-disqualifying document it is imperative that you do before filling out this application because it will be part of your submitted documents with signature and initials by yourself and a parent or guardian. It is a long list of things that you must agree with – disagreement with any one of the statements is disqualifying.
First round of questions, that automatically get sorted out by computer/AI, until we have shortened the applicants to 1,600 per gender.
Drop down boxes will allow you to select an answer.
Weight of answers is an internal private formula.

There are 10 questions. Applicants at this stage will experience the questions in real time. These will not be a part of public record, I do not wish there to be any time to game out answers, and the like. The purpose of these questions to gauge applicants answers to situational beliefs, experiences, and tolerances in general. They are assigned numerical value internally.
