Candidates will be expected to follow local, state, national, and international laws.
Institutionally, any manner of mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, or otherwise different "harm" to a cohort member will result in the formation of a committee to investigate, confirm or dismiss the validity of the accusation, and recommend appropriate actions.
Committees will include two cohort leaders and two candidates. I will act as a tie-breaker if necessary.
All confirmed breach of law or institutional policies will be recorded and included in your portfolio.
Candidates are expected to participate in the assigned activities, and produce all the work assigned.
In the case where sickness or some other occurrence causes a student to miss said activities or work, then they will be required to fulfill the activities in an agreed upon manner to compensate, and other work will still be expected to be completed as assigned, in sync with the rest of the cohort.
All institutions provide some sort of Honor Code, which should really be called "the we caught you code".
At the MAC, we ask each candidate to hold themselves accountable in the same manner as professional golfers. Golf is one of the only professional competitions I know of that asks players to call the penalty on themselves.
Additionally, you are also expected to act in an honorable way, in public or small group situations.
On this, you should care what others think of you.
You should care how you feel about you.
It would be appreciated if you care how others feel about The MAC because of you.
